We are an asian restaurant catering to Sri Lankan and South Indian taste buds(Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian)If you are looking to find an asian restaurant with a great ambience, fine service, great food prepared in a clean environment, look no more. My name is Niru. It has always been my passion to create such a restaurant to serve the Crawley community near Gatwick airport. My dream came to pass in October 2006 when "Cuzini" opened it's doors to serve you.
Sri Lanka is an exotic island paradise located south of India and for ages reffered to as "Pearl of the Indian Ocean". Beacuse of its geographic location Sri Lankan cusine is greatly influenced by South Indian cusine. Also, some Malay/Chinese as well as Muslim influences shaped the cusine making it a unique, palatable and flavourfull cusine. The "Cuzini" menu reflects this and our chef's go to great length to achieve that unique mouth watering flavour. All our food is freshly prepared to order by our master chef and his assistant.They make the best Dosa in the world. Occasionally, I too go in the kitchen to prepare you a dish, Sri Lankan style, as my mother taught me. Our core menu offers South Indian/ Sri Lankan food, yet we also serve SriLanka style Malay/Chinese fusion food. When you walk into the restaurant, you will soak in our ambiance created by authentic Sri Lankan paintings on the wall, subtle lighting, hand made Sri Lankan chairs for you to relax in and let your senses unwind with a glass of premier Italian wine and Sri Lankan Beer. Sri Lanka is world famous for its teas. When you dine at Cuzini you must order a refreshing cup of "Ceylon Tea". For your easy listening pleasure, we have piped in east/west fusion music. Our outside maintenance contractor has said that our kitchen is the cleanest kitchen he has ever seen. Our toilets are immaculately clean. Independently,the Crawley Observer rated us as the restaurant of the year in 2008.
In addition to the great dining experience which you will positively have at Cuzini, you may also order food to take out. We also deliver within a 5 mile radius free of charge if the order is £15 or more. We also have private banquet facilities where we will specially cater for you. Please call in advance for early reservations because we are booked up, especially during the Holiday season.
